Neil Loughlin

Neil Loughlin is a Senior Lecturer in Comparative Politics in the Department of International Politics at City University of London. Neil’s research focuses on comparative authoritarian politics and the political economy of development, with an emphasis on Southeast Asia. His forthcoming book, The Politics of Coercion: State and Regime Making in Cambodia, will be published by Cornell University Press in September 2024.
