Meng Zhang

Meng Zhang is a medical historian and Assistant Professor at the Department of History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, Peking University, China. He earned his doctoral degree from the Department of History, Peking University, in 2018. His research interests lie in the intersection of medicine, colonialism, and the state in modern Chinese history. He is now working on a book about Japanese-trained Chinese physicians and the formation of state medicine in modern China.
