Jordan Lynton Cox is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies at Mississippi State University. Her research examines Chinese civic/cultural organisations in Jamaica, as well as the spatial, cultural, political, and economic contestations that occur because of more expansive investment in the Caribbean by the People’s Republic of China. She is a member of the editorial board of The People’s Map of Global China and Global China Pulse.
