Dak (Lajiadou) Lhagyal is a McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asia Institute, University of Melbourne. He has a PhD in comparative and international education from Columbia University. His research explores the social, cultural, and political aspects of diversity and inclusion in education, focusing on racial and ethnic minorities and indigenous populations. Lhagyal is dedicated to advancing educational equity and justice for marginalised communities, particularly in the Global South, through his work on multicultural and multilingual education, as well as global education policies and their local implementation.
