Cecilia Springer

Cecilia Springer is a Non-Resident Research Fellow with the Global China Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She is a Principal at Global Efficiency Intelligence, leading research on industrial decarbonisation. Previously, she served as the inaugural Assistant Director of the Global China Initiative. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the environmental impacts of China’s overseas investment, policymaking processes within China and industrial decarbonisation. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and earned her MS and PhD from the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Environmental Science from Brown University
